Diana does an exceptional job at facilitating discussions to develop comprehensive competency models directly tied to business objectives to quickly raise team performance. Diana is also an excellent example of a servant leader. She is an expert in training on the skills and guides the team in applying the concepts for today’s environment. Diana will transform the way training content is written and delivered for maximum retainage and impact. Diana came to our company to help us comprehensively review our current capabilities relative to our competition and where we wanted to be in general. She facilitated many discussions through which we were able to create a comprehensive model to evaluate and train to. The next steps were to develop the training plans and content to deliver to the teams to raise their level of performance. All of the training was directly tied to business objectives and customer satisfaction. There was no wasted motion or training for the sake of training. What was your absolute biggest challenge prior to beginning the coaching process?

“For me, it was the challenge of understanding where to put my energy and how much energy to put into it. I am a people pleaser and a box checker, and I wanted to do everything for everybody, but that was unrealistic and exhausting.”

What changed after going through coaching?

“The biggest things that came from my coaching was a sense of agency, organization, and boundaries. I did not and could not control everything, but I also had a choice that had consequences either way, and recognizing that I had that choice made a big difference. My coaching sessions with Diana helped me organize my thoughts around what is a priority and what is a boundary, and honestly, I had not explored this in the professional setting.”

What specific results can you share?

“While I don’t have quantitative data to share, I have a lot of qualitative commentary to provide. Here is one specific example I can share. I was struggling with a coworker of a project that I supported, and in one of our first sessions, we talked through what that looks like from a support role versus a leader role, and Diana pointed me back to my goals and asked me to intentionally think about the boundaries and agency I had in the situation. Although emotions were high, I did manage the situation, and nearing the end of our coaching, a similar situation came up, and it was like, ‘Yes! have the tools to handle this! I had language and specific tactics to help me navigate the situation, and ultimately, my colleagues and CEO understood where I was coming from, even if they did not totally agree, because I approached it methodically and systematically. I was amazed at my growth, and I was excited to share my progress and how I handled the situation with my coach. Thank you for such a positive experience, even in the times of discomfort and growth. I learned so much. The process only puts out as much as one puts into it. I appreciate Diana having the patience and flexibility in the journey to process where it would be effective to me and for me.”

Generally I don’t like consultants. I do like Diana. Unlike others who may come into an organization with a one size-fits-all generic program, Diana helped us create a tool/program that is specifically designed by our organization for our organization. In less than one year, Diana helped us develop a comprehensive Project Management training program from scratch; seven modules, conceived, curriculum developed and delivered. Through its development and delivery, Diana has been a force, always keeping the team focused and moving forward. Sometimes gentle, other times when necessary, more assertive. She understands people and can quickly read a room to evaluate the effectiveness of the delivery.
